What is this application for?
This application is to register your child for the West Midlands 11 plus exam taking place in September. Please note, this is not the stage where you select your preferred Grammar Schools. That decision will be made in October, after you receive the exam results.
Before Applying:
a) You will need a passport style photo to upload. This can be taken on your phone against a plain white background, passport style from the shoulders up.
b) If you are unsure whether your child is eligible for Pupil Premium, please check with your child’s school BEFORE submitting the exam application. The school will have this information, as they will be required to provide a reference to confirm your child’s Pupil Premium status.
c) If you believe your child may be eligible for reasonable adjustments on exam day, click below for more information. Examples of previous adjustments include; being granted 25% extra time for the test, along with other accommodations, such as placement in a room with fewer pupils for those with attention deficit disorders. The adjustments vary on a case by case basis.

How to Apply:
It may be easier to apply on a larger screen like a computer.
1) Use the link below to start your application.
2) If asked on the application, select Admissions Year 7 (2026)
3) Enter your child’s gender and postcode.
4) Register for a Parent Account by clicking “Parent Register”
5) Log into the parent portal, click “Start Application” and complete your child’s application inside the portal.
6) After submitting the application, you will receive a confirmation email. There may be a delay due to the number of applicants.
After Submitting the Application:
Send us an image of your completed application inside the parent portal – so we can tick you off our list as having applied.
